The Thomson PVR10UK was a groundbreaking product,
based on US TiVo technology, launched in the UK early in the year 2000
for £399
the UK TiVo was set to revolutionise television viewing in the UK.
Currently the UK TiVo is having a 'time out' as
Thomson have ceased production of the PVR10UK unit late 2002. Even so
the UK TiVo service is still going strong providing UK customers with
the excellent service and functionality of the TiVo experience.
Although competitive PVR products have entered the UK
marketplace, the Thomson PVR10UK is still a favourite amongst UK owners
for its flexibility, customisation, ease of use, and features.
