Checking your new HDD space.
As mentioned previously you should of taken a note of this before the upgrade, if your old Hard Drive failed pick a frequency that will not conflict with your RF channel frequencies.
In this example we are choosing just the analogue arial.
Just the first set of digits will do.
If you have to enter a prefix for using TiVo abroad or in a office/switchboard enviroment.
At this point the TiVo will collect your Service Number from your Motherboard and phone TiVo. This is normally quicker that the 10-20 Minutes it indicated.
You tivo will now scan the Analogue Frequencies for channels avaliable.
Be carefull as the TiVo tuner may have found channels from a distant transmitter, pick the 5 channel frequencies from your nearest transmitter.
If you have only used 1.5.x guided setup then you will know that this process takes a couple or more hours. With 2.5.5 it does the indexing in the background whilst you get used to using your TiVo.
Please note your correct service number from your TiVo system board will report correctly and the guide data will report guide data if you have a valid subscription on your system board.
